Nokia Lauches it`s First Android Tablet N1

Nokia announced its first Nokia-branded Android tablet, the N1. Gone are the colorful polycarbonate plastic shells of old along with the Windows Phone operating system, to be replaced by an aluminum body and something called the Z Launcher. The tablet, running on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), using Nokia's own Z launcher, is called N1.

There's an Intel 64-bit processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, stereo speakers, plus a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and selfies.

The rear-facing camera boasts 8 megapixels and auto focus and the device weighs in at 318g.

The N1 has a 6.9 mm thick anodized aluminium unibody with a 7.9-inch screen. It will be available in two colours, lava grey and natural aluminium. As its first launch, the N1 will be available in China in the first quarter of 2015, said Nokia in a press release issued.

According to Nokia, after the first launch, it also plans to introduce the N1 tablet in Russia and some European markets. However, the company has no immediate plan to release the device in the US.
