Manna Dey - The Ace Musician
Legendary playback singer Manna Dey passed away after a prolonged illness in BangaloreThe Indian film industry lost another of its stalwarts when the 94-year-old singer, who had been ailing for the last four months passed way in the early hours of October 24th. The legendary singer was admitted to the hospital in July this year after he complained of respiratory problems and lung infection.
Dey leaves behind two daughters-Rama and Sumita. His eldest daughter Rama was by his bedside when he passed away while Sumita is supposed to reach Bangalore by tomorrow. Dey's wife Sulochana Kumaran passed away in Bangalore last January after battling cancer for quite some time.
