WhatSim is a new Sim car invented by Manuel Zanella and connects
WhatsApp in about 150 countries with more than 400 operators. Zanella is
the founder of Zeromobile and designed a wearable technology called i'm
Watch, which was world's first smartwatch.
Most of us who are travelling today use Whatsapp to stay connected.
But to stay connected one needs a reliable data or Wi-Fi connection to
chat for free. The WhatSim answers the most common problem of roaming
data connection which is usually comes expensive and availability issues
with free Wi-Fi.
This new Sim allows the user to chat absolutely free of charge and without any limits using WhatsApp.
A WhatSim costs just Euro 10 and one can chat for free all over the
world for one complete year. It has neither fixed costs nor monthly
payments and it won’t expire.
A special WhatSim version inspired by Pope Francis and designed
specifically for countries in the Global South (as defined by the UN) is
now available. In some of these countries, buying a WhatSim will cost
Euro 5 instead of Euro 10.
With Euro 10 the text messages are free but picture, video and voice sharing will be charged. The charge will apply as per a credit system.
A user can buy a WhatSim card for Euro 5 which would get the user 1,000 credits. The video and audio messages will be charged for a standard length of 10 seconds. For messages of longer length they will be charged at multiples of 10 seconds.
So basically with a charge of Euro 5 one gets 50 photos 10 videos, 200 voice messages.
