Microsoft has released Standalone Word, Excel and Powerpoint apps for the iPhone and a Microsoft Office mobile app for Android.
Android users already had the Office suite 8 app to access Word, Excel, Powerpoint and pdf on their phones but now they can also access the official Microsoft app on their phones.
The new iPhone apps allow advance editing and have been optomised for the smaller screens of iPhones.
Office apps for Android tablet, are still being worked on and are expected to become available in 2015.
